Bay City Montessori Centre was established by Yaso Rasanayagam. In the ensuing 25 years, Yaso nurtured and grew the centre to its current form catering for 3 education programs :
- 2 to 3 y.o. toddler program
- 3 to 5 y.o. kinder
- extended day program
After establishing a region-wide reputation for early education of the highest quality over her 25 years, in 2010 Yaso elected to retire from Bay City Montessori Centre and the facility was purchased by a new body established by Amy Vasher-Cockle. Amy has retained all teaching staff and continues to develop and grow the centre building on the outstanding reputation developed over the preceding 25 years.
